What is CJ Song Factory?
CJ Song Factory is an AI-assisted record label run by me, Ciaran Gilligan. The song titles, concepts, sequencing, lyrics and overall creative direction are mine. AI is used on the production side: instrumentation, arrangement and sound.
I treat it like a studio house band, working through takes and variations until something lands close to the song I could hear in my head. The first release is out now, with more records to be filed into the jukebox as they are finished.

Wasting Melted Snow is a full-length Christmas record that doesn’t take itself too seriously. There are cosy instrumentals, daft comedy songs, a hymn to the Roman festival of Saturnalia, a tribute to British comedy legends Rik and Ade, and a closing CJ Song Factory Christmas message. It’s the kind of album that plays while you’re wrapping presents at midnight—or while you’re arguing about whether Die Hard counts.
